Women over 55 took part in the 11th New York State Women's Senior Singles Tournament at Gil Hodges Lanes in Brooklyn during the last two weekends of August. The winners of the four age brackets were Bernetta Hall (55-59) of Queens, Elsie Towne (60-64) of Waterville, Ann Jackson (65-69) also from Queens and Goldie Klein (over-70) of Saranac Lake.
